Harry Andrews

Harry Andrews is a veteran in the boxing game. He has vast experience in training and sparring with numerous World, European, British and commonwealth champions.

Harry started boxing at the age of 15. “I remember reading a book about Jimmy Wilde who, for you youngsters out there was a Welshman who was the first official flyweight champion of the world. I remember it like it was yesterday, this is what sparked my initial love for boxing.”

Harry started training under the guidance of former British, European and British, European and WBC world flyweight champion Charlie Magri. “Charlie Magri is my favourite boxer of all time and it was an absolute honour to compete under him as my coach, the amount of knowledge I gained from him was unbelievable, he was able to “break it down” and showed me the difference between a good trainer, and a world class trainer.” Harrys highlight of his career “…was when I fought on a sold out show in Wembley Arena, nothing beats a roaring British Crowd”.

Harry was undefeated in his professional career which was cut short due to injury. “As you can probably see from my nose and other scars, I got caught in a few brawls in my early career; unfortunately I was unable to continue as a professional fighter”

Harry is the head coach at The Real Fight Club and trains a mixture of clients ranging from up and coming prospects in the boxing game, to Rugby Union professionals, or those who just wish to improve their fitness or boxing technique. “I have been coaching for over 10yrs now and feel that conditioning is the core for a great fighter or athlete. Seeing my clients reach their goals is so rewarding and watching them use what I taught them in the ring, makes me so proud to be their trainer”

James Pedri, one of Harry’s clients mentions “Harry has this way of training that makes you feel invincible, he pushes you to your limit and at the end of a session you feel like a champion. As well as an excellent coach he has a great sense of humour, he has me in stitches at the end of each session, which almost doubles up as an abdominal workout!”

"Harry has a real Old School approach, a consummate pro in every sense and a great communicator."

Justin Pearson, CEO Human Capital – member of The Real Fight Club
