Darren Hamilton
At the age of 11, after watching ‘Rocky’, Darren asked his uncle to take him Boxing training. Darren’s uncle told him he was too young but Darren was persistent and a year later, he started training. At the age of 14, Darren won the junior Western ABA title as well as the Northern ABA title in 1993 and 1994. Darren turned Pro at 27 and of 8 fights, he has only ever lost one. He is currently training for a title fight for the Light Welter-weight ABA Southern Area and Celtic Championship.
Darren has been a boxing trainer for 4 years and holds a level 2 NVQ in gym instruction and a NVQ level 3 in Personal Training with Sport Nutrition. One of Darren’s favourite quotes is “train hard, fight easy” and he recently assisted Roy Jones Jr. with a TRFC Master Class.
Darren specialises in taking absolute beginners under his wing and elevating them to a higher level of fitness and confidence. Darren offers a professional boxers’ training regime at a level new comers can cope with whilst at the same time see fast results. He takes pride in witnessing the sense of fulfilment when his clients meet and surpass their personal goals and progress from a novice to a White Collar Warrior.
